Beatmiss

Docs

Beatmiss puts earnings nights for Robinhood Stock Tokens on chain. The EarningsDesk contract lists reports, takes free up or down calls before they land, fixes the result from Chainlink's price history and lets anyone trade the stock through the report.

Events

An event is a Stock Token, the time its report lands and the time the reaction is measured: the next regular close for reports after the bell, the same day's close for reports before the open. Dates come from the companies' confirmed calendars. The calendar on the site also shows how each stock moved by the next close after its last four reports.

Calls

One call per wallet per event, up or down, until the report time. A call costs only gas.

The result

After the measuring time anyone can call resolve with two Chainlink round ids: the round live when the report landed and the round live at the measuring time. The contract checks each round against the feed's history (updated at or before that moment, the next round after it, no older than 4 days). Up if the second price is higher, down if lower.

Your record

Settling a call puts it on your record: calls, settled calls, wins, current streak and best streak. The board on the site ranks callers by wins.

Trading

The desk buys or sells the event's stock through its Uniswap pool with a minimum out set from Chainlink, 1.5% below the fair amount. Trades are tagged to the event so its volume is public.

Fees and the token

0.1% of each trade goes to the treasury (capped at 0.5%). Calls are free. Wallets holding the $BTMS amount set in the contract trade with no fee.
